Anderson Almeida, A.K.A. Mr.Guache, Alien sent in an apple box to a family in Sao Paulo, naturalized Brazilian. Semi-single or almost –married , celebrates his arrival to the Planet Earth on the 11th of August of each year.
He is graduated at ETE “Carlos de Campos” since 1995 as a illustrator. He uses a repertory of analogical and digital techniques and references that includes: Watercolor, Acrylic, Graphism, Graffiti, Gluing, Adobe programs which his favorites are Photoshop e Illustrator, Kabritagem (resource which uses a prohibited ninja technique of illustration and gluing), internet, dictionaries, art books, animation and games art books, pop culture and a little bit of gray mass.
He was awarded twice so far: in 1999 together with Brainstore Editora, the HQ mix for the best national graphic (“Coffin Joe’s weird gang”) and in 2008 at the 1st Cultural Challenge of Design Revista Computer Arts Brasil (3rd place/professional category).
